Local 340 Reelects President Gerald A. Fitzgerald
7/9/2008 -- Members of Local 340 have reelected President Gerald A. Fitzgerald. On July 9th, the American Arbitration Association counted ballots and certified that Jerry had been elected to his second four year term as Local President. Jerry has been with the union since 1977, and has served as both shop steward and bargaining committee member. He works at Brooks Brothers in Manhasset, Long Island. Congratulations Jerry!
The positions of Vice President and Recording Secretary were previously filled when candidates ran unopposed and were therefore elected by acclimation. Congratulations to Steven Blecher (Barney's), who will serve as Vice President and Drew Stuart (Jos A Bank), who will serve as Recording Secretary.
