Heldrich Committee Takes Next Step Toward First Contract
September 18, 2008: The newly elected union negotiating committee at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick came to the Newark union hall on Thursday to begin preparing to negotiate their first union contract.

Hilton Rye Town Members Overwhelmingly Ratify New Three Year Contract
Following long days and nights of bargaining, petitions, button actions and delegations, the workers at the Hilton Rye Town ratified their new union contract on August 12.
Victory at the Heldrich Center!
8/1/2008 - Congratulations to the 150 workers at the Heldrich Center
who joined the union today after an arbitrator declared that an
"overwhelming majority" had chosen to join UNITE HERE! To win the
union, the organizing committee at the Heldrich stood together with
community allies to ensure that every worker's voice is represented.
Great job everybody! Now we head into first contract bargaining where
we continue to raise standards for hotel workers in Northern New Jersey.
