Barney's Madison Ave Workers Win New Contract
7/28/08 -- Local 340 Members at Barney's Madison Avenue have ratified their new contract. Voting was held Thursday, July 24th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and Friday, July 25th from 1:30 to 3:30pm.
164 members voted in favor of the new contract, and 32 voted against. The following associates administered the vote count:

NEGOTIATION NOTES June 18, 2008
The committee met at 9:30 to discuss the strategy for the day. We called the Company in at 11:43. The Company stated their proposal was based on some assumptions.

NEGOTIATION NOTES June 10, 2008
The committee met at 10:00 today to discuss our strategies for the day. At 12:52 we called the Company in to give them our updated proposals.

Barney's Co-Op Negotiations Begin 5/28/2008
On May 28th, the union sat down with Barney's Co-Op for our first negotiating session. We opening by presenting various health and safety concerns. Please check back here periodically for more updates.
The next session is scheduled for June 11th.
